Our story
Founded by Russell Winter, a third-generation Tool & Die Maker and small machine shop owner, the company exists to unite SMBs and build the “Army of Small” into a powerful, distributed network that delivers the capacity, resilience, and speed America needs for reindustrialization and national security.
After purchasing his family’s tiny machine shop in 2019 at age 24, Russell witnessed the same challenges repeating across thousands of shops nationwide: retiring owners with no succession plan, idle machines, untapped talent, and major barriers to winning business-sustaining contracts (particularly in defense, aerospace, and medical sectors).
What we do
US MFG solves these problems at scale through a revolutionary platform that streamlines government contracting for manufacturing SMBs. Alongside the platform, we provide all the supporting infrastructure and systems SMBs need to run and grow effectively - including software, compliance support (ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMC), logistics, shared resources, and collaborative networks.
